God's Active Spiritual Hand Ministry

How can the impoverished communities be empowered to change their conditions? THE ACTIVE HAND Ministry believes the key to solving community issues is by networking. Without forming grassroots organizations that connect individuals, organizations, municipalities and law makers with the impoverished needs of the community, poor people will remain in their spiritual, social and economical conditions.

THE ACTIVE HAND Ministry realizes that poor and disenfranchised people, in the Greater Richmond area, can effect change in their conditions if they unite through grassroots agencies that demand those changes in their communities.

TAHM is a 501 c 3 organization; so it is not a church nor does it recognize any denomination. TAHM is a grassroots, community organizing, organization incorporated on May 17, 2007, and exempted April 11, 2008 as a public charity.

People Agreeing For A Change

People Agreeing for a Change is TAHM’s community organizing program that trains marginalized people in the "Spiritual Principles" of organizing and the principles of "Community Organizing." TAHM believes that by networking with other service providing organizations, a marginalized people will reach a point where they can break the cycle of inequality. February is Teenage Dating Violence Prevention month, and THE ACTIVE HAND Ministry, in collaboration with Chesterfield County Domestic and Sexual Violence Resource Center and Saving Our Youth VA, invites adults, parents and interested parties to become A Fly On The Wall by attending an open panel forum that will give adults a chance to ask questions about subjects from a panelist of youth who have witnessed, first hand, the atrocities of teenage dating violence, that their own youths refuse to discuss with them.

Adults! Come, Get Youths Answers About Teenage Dating Violence.

Kids As Young As 11 Years Old Experience Dating Violence and Dating Violence Harms Boys And Girls.

In addition to raising public awareness and promoting solutions, THE ACTIVE HAND Ministry will also be using this series of public forums to raise money for its Choose Respect Youth Leadership Program in order to purchase a used 15 seat passenger van to provide a vital aspect of our Choose Respect program called, “The Community Walkabout”; field trips that exposes our youth to problem issues in their community.

Space is limited so you must RSVP.
